Romeo’s Euro Cafe’s ‘3rd Tuesday’ dinner: Asia Minor & Cardinal Point Pork

Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert will hold its monthly “3rd Tuesday” dinner – in which the kitchen crew creates three new menu items and the waitstaff pairs them with three wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Jan. 20 “3rd Tuesday” menu:

• Asia Minor: Roasted duck breast, mixed greens, fig-date-pomegranate-cranberry-chipotle sauce, and garbanzo, black bean, and cilantro spring roll, paired with 2011 Row Eleven Rose.
• Cardinal Point Pork: Oven-roasted pork loin with bacon-raisin-sundried-tomato jam, kale mashed potatoes, spicy cauliflower-peppers jardinière, and crispy tempura baby corn and hearts of palm, paired with 2012 Castle Rock Russian River Reserve Pinot Noir.
• A Touch of Citrus: Almond cake with fresh lemon zest and juice, paired with 2010 Aresti Gewürztraminer Late Harvest Reserva.
