The top 10 things you need to know about the 15th annual Arizona Strong Beer Festival

1. Saturday’s 21-and-over event, capped at 7,500 people, will feature a record 140-plus breweries. See the latest update of who’s participating and what beers they’re pouring here.

2. The festival takes place at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix. See a Google map of the park’s location here. Download a map of the festival’s new enlarged layout here along with a key here.

3. Free parking is available (with your festival ticket) in the parking structure on the northeast corner of Central and Indian School. Attendees also are encouraged to take light rail, cab, or bicycle.

4. VIP tickets are sold out. General admission tickets are $45, which includes a tasting glass and 40 beer samples. Tickets only are available online here. General admission tickets are expected to sell out by the end of Friday. Designated driver tickets are $10.

StrongBeerSanTan5. The gates open for VIP ticket holders at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. General admission starts at 1 p.m. Last call is 4:45 p.m. The festival ends at 5 p.m.

6. The festival’s grounds have been expanded to the equivalent of three football fields this year. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

7. Saturday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and a high of 86 degrees. Dress appropriately. Wear sunscreen and/or a hat. Shade will be limited. Free water will be available.

8. Food will be available at an additional cost. Vendors will include The Traveling Monk, Brat Haus, Mother Bunch, Angels Trumpet, Andiamo Pizza, Sally’s BBQ, Island Noodles, and more.
