The weekly five-course dinners, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, in a private dining room, highlight a rotating selection from the regular menu at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert.
Feb. 26 “Taste of Romeo’s†menu:
- Spicy Lamb Potatoes: Gyros meat and potatoes hand-formed into ball and deep-fried.
- Teriyaki Chicken Salad: With black beans, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, avocado, feta, and lemon.
- Kasseri Chicken: Sauteed chicken breast, kasseri cheese, and vegetables in a marsala cream sauce.
- Sausage Sophia: Italian sausage with vegetables in EVOO.
- Fantasy Cake: Layers of cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and Devil’s Food cake, finished with dark chocolate and ground pistachios.
