The weekly five-course dinners, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, in a private dining room, highlight a rotating selection from the regular menu at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert.
March 5 “Taste of Romeo’s†menu:
- Feta Dill Fritters: A blend of gyro meat, feta cheese, fresh dill, spinach, and pine nuts.
- Broiled Chicken Salad: Grilled chicken tossed with artichokes, roasted red peppers, black olives, green onions, and walnuts with a lemon-mustard sauce.
- Ravioli Inamorata: Cheese ravioli, artichoke hearts, baby corn, roasted red peppers, carrots, sunflower seeds, and black beans in a creamy cheese sauce.
- Andalusian Baked Eggplant: Fennel sausage, roasted red peppers, pine nuts, spinach, red onions, and scallions baked over eggplant with feta cheese.
- Chocolate Cheesecake
