Saturday (3/14) is Pi Day (3.14…), and Wimpy’s Paradise in downtown Chandler is celebrating with an old-fashioned pie sale to raise money for Relay for Life of Chandler.
The annual relay walk, which takes place May 1, is a fundraiser for the fight against cancer. Besides getting pledges for the walk, teams raise money with various events in the month or two before.
One of the teams competing May 1 is baking pies, including some gluten-free, which will be available at Wimpy’s Paradise from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. (or until they run out) Saturday.
A slice of pie will be $5, or you can purchase a whole pie for $20.
