Fans of the original Pittsburgh Willy’s in the Merchant’s Square antique mall may recall Wednesdays were Pierogi Day, the one day of the week the hot dog shop also offered the Polish dumplings.
Since temporarily moving into the same downtown Chandler space as its sibing restaurant, burger and ice cream parlor Wimpy’s Paradise, Pittsburgh Willy’s suspended Pierogi Day.

Starting today, though, the pierogi are back.
Wimpy’s Paradise/Pittsburgh Willy’s is launching Pierogi Night from 5-8 p.m. (or until pierogi run out) every Thursday.
Owner Randy Walters’ family hand-made 40 plates of the butter-sauced, potato-stuffed dumplings for tonight – and 20 of them already have been reserved.
