Hole-y hell (for those on diets): Friday is National Doughnut Day

To celebrate, The Hungry Monk in Chandler is tapping kegs of Oskar Blues Gubna imperial IPA and Telegraph Brewing Handlebar Abbey Ale.

When you order a pint of either, you’ll get a free doughnut (while supplies last).

At Krispy Kreme, you can get a free doughnut. No purchase necessary.

At Dunkin Donuts, you can get a free doughnut with the purchase of any drink.

At Fractured Prune, you can get a free doughnut with the purchase of any drink. Or you can get a free two-pack when you buy a dozen doughnuts.

National Doughnut Day, by the way, was created by The Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the men and women who served doughnuts to World War I soldiers.
