If you haven’t been to recently opened JC’s Steakhouse, here’s a great reason to check it out.
At 7 p.m. Wednesday, it will hold its monthly wine tasting with food pairings. This month’s spotlight will be on Germany and Austria:
- Riesling Kabinett 2007 from Prince Von Hessen, paired with Frankicher Zwiebelkuchen (Franconian onion cake)
- Gruner Veltliner 2013 from Laurenz V., paired with Gurken Salat (cucumber salad)
- Blauer Zweigelt 2012 from Skeleton, paired with Rouladon (beef rolls with sauerkraut, pickles, and mustard), Rotkohl (red cabbage), Kartoffell Kloesse (potato dumplings), and Kielbasaw, brussel sprouts, apples, and a mustard cream sauce.
- Riesling 2012 by Schloss Reinhartshausen, Â paired w/ schwazwalder Kirschtorte (black forest cake)and Marillenknodel ( apricot Dumpling).
