1. More than 30 breweries will participate in the second annual Beer Palooza from 1-6 p.m. Saturday.
2. The 21-and-over event again will be held in air-conditioned indoor comfort at WestWorld of Scottsdale (map).
3. There will be an $5 cash-only charge for parking.
4. General admission is $30 and includes 20 4-ounce samples. VIP is $50 and includes 25 samples and early entry at noon.
5. Chef Michael DeMaria and his M Culinary Concepts will be selling beer-friendly food like sausages, pizza, nachos, burgers, and more.
6. Activities will include a life-size foosball table, beer trivia, a movie screen showing clips from beer-themed movies, a chalk drawing zone, and more.
7. Former “Dawson’s Creek” actor Kerr Smith (pictured above), who recently began brewing with Venice Beach Beer Company, will be serving his beer.
8. Attendees will be able to buy select beers to go from the fest’s pop-up beer store.
