In what’s sure to be one of the summer’s don’t-miss beer events in the Valley, The Perch is celebrating its one-year “beer-iversary” – marking the date the Chandler brewpub brewed its first beer – Wednesday.
Head brewer Andrew Bauman has introduced so many great beers over the past 12 months it’s hard to keep up with all of them.
That’s why I’m looking forward to Wednesday, when he’ll be pulling kegs of 22 of them out of storage, including:
- Cinn Honey Nut Porter
- Mahoney’s Irish Brown
- Light Jacket IPA
- Desert Blossom Saison
- Rosemary IPA
- Parka DIPA
- Lemongrass DIPA
- Duster Pale Wheat Ale
- Peacoat Porter
- Batch 28 Blonde
- Sundress Grapefruit IPA
- Itzen IPA
- Sam’s Raz Porter
- Strawberry Wheat
- Sanderac Amber
- Rhubarb Porter (collaboration with OHSO)
- CollaboRaz Saison (collaboration with Beer Research Institute)
- Belgian Peach
- Reynold’s Irish Red
- Grilled Lemon Cream Ale
- Shamma Limea Mimea Gose
Bauman also will be tapping a keg of the very first beer he brewed at The Perch: Ginger Mofo.
The Perch also will be selling four kinds of ice cream made with its beers, as well as a special beer-infused food menu.
The “beer-iversary” party runs 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
