Looks like inflation has hit Someburros’ annual Pollo Fundido special.
Today only, the Tempe-based Mexican chain celebrates its 29th anniversary with $6 Pollo Fundido burros at all six locations.
The signature burro features marinated chicken wrapped in a flour tortilla, then deep-fried and topped with jalapeño cream cheese, grated cheddar, and green onions.
The Pollo Fundido normally sells  for $8.50. Last July 8, it was on special for $5.
