It’s been nearly six years since Four Peaks Brewing added a beer to its year-round “core” lineup. That streak will end next month with the launch of White Ale, a Belgian-inspired witbier.
White Ale will replace Hefeweizen, which still will be brewed occasionally as part of the Tempe brewery’s Single Tank Series.
Brewed with fruit from Greenfield Citrus in Mesa and Arizona-grown White Sonora Wheat from Hayden Flour Mills in Tempe, White Ale weighs in at an easy-drinking 5.4% ABV and 10 IBUs.
“The malt forward profile with notes of orange and coriander make this an approachable beer for craft beer fans across the board,” says Four Peaks brewer Melissa Osborne, who created the recipe.
White Ale will be distributed on draft throughout the state, with the possibility of packaging in the future.
The last beer Four Peaks had added to its core lineup was Sunbru, its Kolsch-style ale.
