After yesterday’s post about three new restaurants coming to Gilbert, I don’t want Chandler residents to feel left out.

So here are three restaurants that soon will open in Chandler:

Wild Vine Uncorked

Neighbors have been waiting eagerly for this wine and tapas bar to open in the Bashas’ plaza on the northwest corner of Gilbert and Chandler Heights.

The space began as the firehouse-themed Nozzleheads, then Tom’s BBQ, and, most recently, Bourbon Street Bar & BBQ.

Look for the opening late this month.

Biscuits Cafe

This Oregon-based chain of breakfast-and-lunch eateries is opening its second Chandler location in the large strip mall on the southwest corner of Alma School and Germann.

(Biscuits Cafe should not be confused with Biscuits, a local mini chain with locations in Tempe, Gilbert, and Ahwatukee.)

A mid-September opening is planned.

Rick’s Pub & Grill

Last month, Duke’s Tavern quietly closed its doors after a year-and-a-half run on the northeast corner of Rural and Ray.

Taking its space will be this neighborhood-focused restaurant and bar, which I haven’t heard much about yet.

A November opening is being targeted.
