Crust finally is open in the historic San Marcos Resort in downtown Chandler.

The small, Scottsdale-based chain originally was scheduled to move into the former Kokopelli Winery space – a block south of the resort – in 2013.

That deal went awry, and the Original ChopShop Co. took the space.

Last September, Crust announced it would be move into the San Marcos, just north of SanTan Brewing.

Crust’s menu features three kinds of New York-style pizza, sandwiches (lunch only), pastas, and Italian dinner entrees.

Lunch specials include two slices and a drink for $5.95 and pasta with meatballs and a drink for $7.95.

Glasses of wine are available for $5 until 5 p.m. daily.

Hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. weekdays and noon-9 p.m. weekends.

The Ostrich, a downstairs speakeasy-style craft bar, will open this fall.
