Angry Crab Shack, the popular Cajun and Creole seafood concept that debuted in Mesa less than two years ago, will open its fifth restaurant later this year in east Mesa.
Angry Crab Shack launched on the northwest corner of Alma School and Guadalupe in November 2013 and immediately was a huge hit with East Valley diners.
The locally owned restaurant added barbecue to its menu and expanded into Phoenix in October 2014 and Ahwatukee earlier this month. It’s about to open westside locations in Peoria and Goodyear.
After that, it’ll return to Mesa to take over the former Jade Palace Super Buffet space on the southwest corner of Hawes and Guadalupe (next to Walmart).
An opening is planned before the end of 2015.
