JC’s Steakhouse’s monthly tasting to feature Chilean wine & food pairings Wednesday

JC’s Steakhouse in Gilbert will hold its monthly wine tasting at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

This month’s focus will be on Chilean wines. The food and wine pairings:

  • Santa Rita Organic Sauvignon Blanc paired with humitas (Chilean tamales).
  • Santa Rita Reserve Carmenere paired with chimichurri quinoa ensalada (salad).
  • Santa Rita Secret Reserve paired with pastel de choclo (corn shepherd’s pie) and carne mechada (Chilean pot roast).
  • Terra Andina Cool Moscato paired with Brazo de Riena (rolled sponge cake).
