The Spot, a self-described “upbeat neighborhood hangout†on the northeast corner of Higley and Ray in Gilbert, has closed.
The tiny fast-casual eatery, which served sandwiches, salads and flatbread pizzas, had opened in January 2012.
Taking over the two-story space will be Ta Lew Thai Bistro, which hopes to open around Oct. 1.
