French Fry Heaven in Tempe to celebrate grand opening with free food samples at 6 p.m. tonight

French Fry Heaven, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based chain, makes its Arizona debut today in the Vista Del Sol marketplace on Apache just west of Rural in Tempe.

There will be free food samples during a grand opening celebration from 6-8 p.m.

The space, across from a mini Walmart, formerly was home to Bombay Spice Grill.

French Fry Heaven offers fries, chips, or baked potatoes with 14 signature toppings for $7.99:

  • Traditional Poutine (brown gravy, cheese curds)
  • Shepard’s Pie
  • Bacon Cheeseburger
  • Italian (pepperoni, cheese, pizza sauce)
  • Taco
  • Pulled Pork
  • Buffalo Chicken
  • Country Fried Chicken
  • Chicken Garlic Parmesan
  • Sunrise (fried egg, bacon, cheese)
  • Sunset (fried egg, bacon, pancake, syrup)
  • The Ball Park (hot dog, cheese, ketchup, mustard)
  • Bruschetta
  • Chili & Cheese

Or you can create your own style from their list of toppings, dips, and seasonings.

The menu also offers chicken tenders, shakes, and frozen drinks. Unlike most locations, the Tempe one will not serve alcohol.

French Fry Heaven will be open 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday and 11 a.m.-3 a.m. Thursday-Saturday.
