Colorado’s Oskar Blues will be the featured brewery when The Hungry Monk holds its monthly Beer & Bacon Night from 5-9 p.m. tonight.
There will be six Oskar Blues beers on tap:
- Dale’s Pale Ale
- Deviant Dale’s IPA
- Mama’s Little Yella Pils
- Ten Fidy imperial stout
- Pinner IPA
- Death by Coconut porter
A sampler of all six will be $6.
Food specials will include:
- Bacon’d Colorado Tostada (2): Shredded chicken in Dale’s Pale bacon’d Colorado red chile sauce, applewood bacon, pico, cabbage, and fired egg on a crispy tortilla. ($11)
- Steeler Sandwich: The Monk’s twist on the famous Primanti Bros. sandwich. Applewood bacon, grilled tomato, hand-cut fries, cole salw and bacon aioli in an Amoroso roll. Served with choice of side. ($10)
- Bacon Jalapeno Grilled Cheese: Bacon, cheddar, jalapeno bacon cream cheese, and grilled jalapenos on grilled sourdough bread. Served with choice of side. ($9)
- Brady’s Patriot Balls: Tater tots (deflated, of course) topped with lots of bacon, buffalo sauce, and house-made blue cheese. ($7.50)
- Old Chub Bacon Buffalo Chili: Bowl of house-made bacon and buffalo chili topped with cheese, onions, and sour cream, served with a piece of garlic toast. ($6)
