Thursday’s ‘Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe’ menu: Ravioli Marco Polo & Pork Molise

Ravioli Marco Polo and Pork Molise (pictured) are the featured entrees of this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe” dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, on Thursday.

The weekly five-course dinner, held in a private dining room, highlights a rotating selection from the regular menu of the downtown Gilbert restaurant.

Sept. 24 “Taste of Romeo’s” menu:

  • Feta Dill Fritters: A blend of gyro meat, feta cheese, fresh dill, spinach, and pine nuts.
  • Teriyaki Chicken Salad: Sauyeed chicken, black beans, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, avocado, feta, and lemon over romaine.
  • Ravioli Marco Polo: Cheese ravioli, meat sauce with Italian sausage, ricotta topped with mozzarella, and a touch of cinnamon.
  • Pork Molise: Grilled pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon, roasted garlic, horseradish mashed potatoes, honey caramelized onions, and apricot-cherry sauce.
  • Irish Cream Cheesecake: Irish Cream liquor and mini chocolate chips.

Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $27 per person plus tax and tip. Add five wine tastes for $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
