Nosh Arizona, a self-described gastropub and wine bar on the northwest corner of McClintock and Ray in Chandler, has closed. Owner and chef Stacey Carson made the announcement on the eatery’s Facebook page Saturday:

It is with my deepest regrets to tell you Nosh is shutting its doors. Tonight is our last night. I thank you to all your support over the years. I wish you well.

Nosh opened in December 2012. It experimented with making its own house wine, and hosted fun and creative promotions ranging from monthly craft beer “bar fights” to screw-cap wine dinners.

Despite being named one of the Valley’s best new restaurants by Phoenix Magazine, Nosh struggled to draw diners. Carson recently had tried to crowd-source funding to keep the eatery open.
