1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza, a chain based out of New Jersey, will make its Arizona debut this fall at SanTan Village in Gilbert.

The restaurant will be located next to Chipotle and Charming Charlie’s (south across the street from the Apple Store and east across the street from Barnes & Noble).

Thanks to the chain’s namesake 1,000-degree ovens, it can cook a 10- or 14-inch pizza in just 2 minutes.

The menu includes such specialty pies as:

  • The Smoky Pollo: With bourbon barbecue sauce, roasted chicken, red onion, pineapple, shredded mozzarella, and blue cheese chunks.
  • The Philly: With thinly sliced rib-eye, caramelized Spanish onions, balsamic glaze, shredded mozzarella, and provolone.
  • Grandma Marie’s Broccoli Rabe: With roasted garlic broccoli rabe, parmesan, and shredded mozzarella.
  • Sausage & Peppers: With sweet or hot crumbled Italian sausage (your choice), sweet red and green peppers, red onions, mozzarella, and San Marzano marinara.

1000 Degrees has signed franchise agreements to open locations in six Arizona cities. The second will be at the 101 and Scottsdale Road in north Scottsdale. The other four have not been announced.
