The monthly dinners, which start at 6:30 p.m., feature three new dishes from the creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgable waitstaff at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert.
Sept. 20 “3rd Tuesday†menu:
- Slider Trio: Chicken parmesan with spicy marinara and parsley salad; five-spice pork belly with grilled pineapple-cilantro salsa; sesame-crusted yellowfin tuna with sriracha aioli and pickled cucumbers. Paired with 2013 Bertani Velante Pinot Grigio.
- Cornish Game Hen Florentine: Stuffed with spinach, caramelized onion, hard-boiled eggs, crispy bacon, garlic, and peppadew peppers with risotto-style brown rice, carrots, peas, porcini mushrooms, garbanzos, black beans, corn, hominy, sun-dried tomato, and balsamic marinara. Paired with 2013 Hangtime Pinot Noir.
- Christine’s Fillo-Wrapped Brownie. Paired with Regio Lodi Dark Red.
