Wednesday: California wine dinner at JC’s Steakhouse

JC’s Steakhouse in Gilbert will hold its monthly wine tasting at 7 p.m. Wednesday. This month’s focus will be on California wines.

The food-and-wine pairings:

  • Chicken and poblano kabob, paired with White Haute Riesling.
  • Beef barley soup, paired with Cosentino The Dark.
  • Stuffed bell peppers and Spanish rice, paired with Red Haute Pinot noir.
  • Apple cobbler, paired with Belstar Prosecco.
