Arizona Wilderness Brewing in Gilbert, Yoli’s Cafe in Chandler, and Republica Empanada in Mesa are some of the East Valley restaurants that will be featured in Season 6 of ‘‘Check, Please! Arizona.’’
The four-time Emmy-winning TV series airs at 7 p.m. Thursdays beginning tonight. It is Arizona PBS’s highest-rated series.
Every show, three Valley residents each nominate a restaurant. All three people dine at all three, then review the restaurants with host Robert McGrath, a James Beard Award-winning chef.
To be eligible for review, restaurants must be independently owned and in business for at least two years.
