Peanut Butter Milk Stout, a new beer from Sleepy Dog Brewery in Tempe, will get its official launch party from 6-8 p.m. Friday at The Beer Research Institute in Mesa.
The peanut butter ale, which already is on tap at the Sleepy Dog, is a variant of the Tempe brewery’s flagship Wet Snout Milk Stout, a 5.7% ABV sweet stout.
BRI will be pairing the beer with what they’re calling ‘‘the dankest PB&J to hit your lips.’’
Peanut Butter Milk Stout also will be one of the beers featured in a Sleepy Dog tap takeover at The Monastery in Mesa on Jan. 22.
