It’s been a good month for the East Valley’s three homeless food truck roundups.
The former Gilbert Food Truck Food Court, which lost its downtown location in December, reopened Jan. 8 at Gilbert Town Square with a new name: Gilbert Town Square Feastival.
The Queen Creek Feastival, suspended in September at Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre, returns this Saturday at the Queen Creek Library.
Now Chandler Food Trucks, which was suspended in August at Shoppers Supply, has announced it will restart Feb. 5 at Rawhide Western Town.
So here’s the updated roundup of East Valley roundups:
- Gilbert Town Square Feastival: 5:30-9 p.m. Fridays at Gilbert Town Square on Gilbert Road just south of Warner.
- Chandler Food Trucks: 5-10 p.m. Fridays at Rawhide at I-10 and Wild Horse Pass Road (starting Feb. 5).
- Queen Creek Feastival: 5:30-9 p.m. Fridays at the Queen Creek Library on Ellsworth Loop just north of Ocotillo Road.
- Mesa Feastival Forest: 5:30-9 p.m. Saturdays at Pioneer Park on Main Street just east of Mesa Drive.
All have free admission and free parking. The rosters of participating food trucks change weekly, so check the roundups’ Facebook pages for updates.
