Airport hotels usually aren’t known for their restaurants. Holiday Inn is hoping to change that. The chain began rolling out its own craft-burgers-and-beer concept last year.

Dubbed Burger Theory, the eateries focus on house-made burgers blended from chuck, brisket, and short rib. Each is anchored by a bar offering local craft beers and has a unique decor (pictured above is Indianapolis).

The concept, so far limited to Holiday Inns next to airports, will make its Arizona debut in early March at the Holiday Inn Phoenix Airport North on the southeast corner of 44th Street and McDowell.

So far, the Burger Theory restaurants (which have no relation to Burger Theory concepts in England and Australia) have earned good reviews in nearly a dozen cities.
