The Great Pho King, one of the Valley’s more popular food trucks, opens a bricks-and-mortar restaurant, Pho King Kitchen, today in south Scottsdale.
It takes over the former La Fontana Italian restaurant on the northeast corner of Hayden and Thomas.
As its name suggests, Pho King, which debuted in 2013, serves pho (soup) and other traditional Vietnamese dishes, as well as fusion items like a pho burrito and a Vietnamese cheese steak sandwich.
The restaurant, which includes a full bar and a patio, offers an expanded lunch and dinner menu.
