‘‘Extra Virgin Americana,’’ a Cooking Channel show chronicling a season-long family road trip by actress Debi Mazar and her chef/husband Gabriele Corcos (pictured), makes a couple of stops in Gilbert on Wednesday.
In an episode entitled “Fear and Cooking in the Grand Canyon,’’ the couple harvest vegetables and play with Mangelitsa pigs at The Farm at Agritopia, then cook alongside chef/owner David Traina at Liberty Market.
The 30-minute episode was shot last July. It premieres at 7 p.m. Wednesday (the Cooking Channel is channel 134 on regular Cox and 1134 on Cox HD; check your local listings for other providers) and repeats at 11 p.m. It also will re-run next Wednesday, March 9.
