Garlic Chicken Pesto and Mediterranean Stuffed Gyros (pictured) are the featured entrees of this week’s “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe†dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The weekly five-course dinners, held in a private dining room, highlight a rotating selection from the regular menu of the downtown Gilbert restaurant.
March 10 “Taste of Romeo’s†menu:
- Eggplant Cappicola: Provolone and ham cappicola wrapped in fresh eggplant and deep-fried. Served with marinara sauce for dipping.
- Mandarin Dijon Chicken Salad: Grilled chicken, black olives, mandarin oranges, peas, carrots, water chestnuts, pecans, hearts of palm, and pineapple with honey Dijon dressing.
- Garlic Chicken Pesto: Chicken breast sautéed with roasted garlic, pine nuts in basil pesto cream.
- Mediterranean Stuffed Gyros: Gyros stuffed with feta, roasted peppers, capers, sun-dried tomatoes. Melted kasseri and tomatoes. Served with tomato feta focaccia and yogurt sauce.
- Cherry Cordial Tart.
