Last month, MXSW broke the news about Burger Theory, a new burger-and-beer concept from Holiday Inn, making its Arizona debut near Sky Harbor in March.
Well, it’s opening this Saturday adjacent to the Holiday Inn at 44th Street and McDowell north of the airport.
The 3,600-square-foot burger joint features distressed wood tables, Mason jar pendant lights, custom art pieces, and 17 TVs. There’s also a covered patio.
Although burgers take center stage, the menu also offers salads, wings, entrees, and even traditional breakfast items from 6-11 a.m. daily.
Burger Theory promises ‘‘30-plus local craft beers,’’ which will be discounted during hour from 4-7 p.m. seven days a week.
The concept targets business travelers and vacationing families, but is open to all. Locations began rolling out last year near airports nationwide.
