If you’re sad this week is your last chance to enjoy The MegaDog, the Arizona Diamondbacks’ spring-training-only culinary creation at Salt River Fields, there’s some good news.
The team has announced another new menu item for the regular season at Chase Field: The Cheeseburger Dog, made with char-grilled hamburger, deep-fried, and served with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and “secret sauce.” It will cost $10.
The Cheeseburger Dog follows in the footsteps of the D-Bat Dog in 2014 and the Churro Dog in 2015.
The D-Backs open the season a week from Monday against the visiting Colorado Rockies.
