Sobas, a new fast-casual Asian food concept in Gilbert, will celebrate its grand opening by giving away free meals at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The concept, from the same people who recently bought NCounter in Tempe, offers a range of Asian dishes – from Japanese ramen to Vietnamese pho to Chinese baos to pad Thai.
Most dishes are priced between $6 and $12.
The 50-seat eatery already had its soft opening in the Crossroads Towne Center on the southeast corner of Gilbert Road and the San Tan Freeway.
At 11 a.m. Saturday, the first 100 people in line (who register their email at that time) will get a free Sobas bowl every month for the rest of 2016.
Everyone else in line at 11 a.m. (who registers their email) will receive a free bowl that day.
Sobas is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
