Casanova Brothers Pizza, which has been tossing New York-style pies since 2008, has been looking all over the Valley for a larger location.
It finally found what it was looking for – just a cannoli throw from its longtime home on the northeast corner of Val Vista and Guadalupe in Gilbert.
Casanova Brothers is moving across its strip mall’s parking lot to a stand-alone building just vacated by Serrano’s Mexican Restaurants.
‘‘We are going to be completely remodeling the interior so it matches our style and has that Casanova feel,’’ the owners say in a Facebook post. ‘‘No specific date yet on when we will start the remodel.’’
The pizzeria is considering applying for a beer and wine license for the new location, but hasn’t made a decision yet.
