Chou’s Kitchen, a well-regarded Chinese restaurant on the southwest corner of Alma School and Ray in Chandler, is opening a second location in Tempe this summer, according to AZCentral’s Dominic Armato.
Armato reports owners Sunny Zhao and Lulu Zhou are taking over the former Copper Kettle Indian restaurant on the north side of Apache about halfway between Rural and McClintock.
Like the five-year-old original, the new location will feature dishes from the Dongbei region of northeast China.
Unlike the original, the new location will be spacious (seating up to 75) and open for lunch and dinner daily.
Look for an opening in early August.
