El Palacio chef Anthony Serrano and Zappone’s Italian Bistro chef Sal Zappone will compete mano a mano in a South of the Border Throwdown on Sunday, July 31.
The pair will prepare dishes from Mexico to Argentina with a little spice and a lot of flavor. Zappone will have the home-kitchen advantage – his Gilbert restaurant will host the event.
For $65 (all-inclusive), diners will enjoys two appetizers, two entrees, two desserts, and three wine and cocktail pairings. Then they will vote for a winner.
