JC’s Steakhouse starts all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch buffet this weekend

There are very few all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch buffets in the East Valley, and I can’t think of any that are less than $20. That changes this weekend when JC’s Steakhouse in Gilbert launches a $19.99 buffet.

Chef-owner Dennis Petty and his wife, Diana Blewer, opened their rustic steakhouse in December 2014 shortly before selling their 5-year-old all-day restaurant The Groves.

‘‘One of the reasons we are doing this is the constant requests from our old clientele from The Groves,’’ Petty says. ‘‘I think they miss us, so we will be serving some of the old faves.’’

The brunch will run 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays, and the menu will have a combination of every-Sunday items as well as selections that will rotate weekly. This Sunday’s menu:
