Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus (pictured) and his wife, Janice, in a private dinning room, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
This week’s menu of rotating selections from the restaurant’s regular menu:
- Avaro: Spicy Italian sausage, ricotta cheese, Calabrese peppers & roasted red peppers, mashed potatoes, panko breading, ajvar aioli.
- Broiled Chicken Salad: Grilled chicken tossed with artichokes, roasted red peppers, black olives, green onions, and walnuts, with lettuce greens and a lemon-mustard sauce.
- Feta Gyros: Grilled gyros meat, artichoke hearts tossed in feta sauce with romaine leaves.
- Pork Agrodolce: Blackened pork tenderloin, smashed crispy potatoes, green beans, grape tomatoes, roasted garlic, balsamic cipollini onions, fig agrogolce.
- Intoxicated Love: Dark chocolate, Grand Marnier, milk chocolate, and Kahlua, white and milk chocolate layers kissed by Jack Daniels.
