Moon China Bistro, a family-run Chinese restaurant, has opened on the southeast corner of Alma School and Queen Creek (behind McDonald’s) in south Chandler.
It’s a spinoff of popular Moon China Restaurant, which opened on the northeast corner of Ironwood and Ocotillo in San Tan Valley in 2010, and has the same menu.
That fairly large menu focuses on classics such as sweet and sour, kung pao, Mongolian, and moo shu ($8.95-$10.25) chicken, beef, pork, and shrimp.
House specialities include Bistro Wok Fried Chicken, Pineapple Beef, Double Pan-Fried Noodles, and Honey Walnut Shrimp.

Two dozen lunch specials, available 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily, range from $5.95-$6.95 and include an egg roll, crab wonton, and choice of rice.
