Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, in a private dinning room, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
This week’s menu of rotating selections from the restaurant’s regular menu:
- Hungarian Mushrooms: Mushrooms caps broiled with garlic, lemon, butter, dill, spicy paprika, and crispy bacon (pictured)
- Janice’s Kale Salad: Shredded kale, carrots, peppadew peppers, green onions, craisins, mushrooms, and roasted almonds tossed in a creamy honey Dijon dressing. With herbed goat cheese fritter.
- Avocado Feta: Grilled turkey and fresh avocado tossed in feta sauce with romaine leaves.
- Pork AgroDolce: Blackened pork tenderloin, smashed crispy potatoes, green beans, grape tomatoes, roasted garlic, balsamic cipollini onions, and fig agrodolce.
- Mocha Espresso Brownies: Rich chocolaty brownies spiked with Greek coffee, Kahlua, and walnuts.
