JC’s Steakhouse in Gilbert will hold its monthly wine tasting at 7 p.m. Wednesday. This month’s focus will be on France.
The food pairings will feature classic French fare:
- Pairing #1: Caviar, escargot, and steak tartare, paired with Jean-Francois Merieau Touraine Les Hexagonales Sauvignon Blanc.
- Pairing #2: Salade Lyonnaise and velouté de châtaignes (creamy chestnut soup), paired with La Noble Chardonnay.
- Pairing #3: Chicken cordon bleu, cauliflower and goat cheese soufflés and asparagus, paired with Domaine Laroque Cabernet Franc.
- Pairing #4: Crêpes Suzette and chocolate mousse, paired with Le Paradou Grenache.
