Cuisine & Wine Bistro in Gilbert is celebrating Bastille Day, a French holiday commemorating the 1789 storming of the Bastille during the French revolution, with a free wine tasting Thursday.
Fabrice Buschtetz, the chef who opened the wine bar 15 months ago, is a native of France.

The free tasting at 6 p.m. will feature 8-10 wines, including Marius Blanc and Rouge and Chapoutier Belleruche Rose.
The evening’s entertainment will be provided by French folk singer Cecile Hortensia.
