Does the Valley’s appetite for Chicago-style deep-dish pizza have any limits?
Giordano’s is the latest Chicago pizza icon to announce it’s coming to Arizona. It’s taking over the former Corner Bakery Cafe space on the southwest corner of 83rd Avenue and Bell in Peoria.
Its signature Chicago Classic deep-dish pizza (with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers) ranges from $22.75 for a small to $34.50 for a large.
The pizzeria, which has won numerous ‘Best of Chicago’’ awards, will join Windy City rivals Lou Malnati’s, which opened in Phoenix in May, and Gino’s East, which is opening next month in east Phoenix.
Giordano’s currently has 52 locations in the Chicago area, plus six others in Minnesota, Indiana, and Florida.
