Salad and Go, a Gilbert-based chain of drive-though salad bars, continues its steady expansion with a pair of Mesa locations scheduled to open in the next few months.
Roushaun Cristofellis and her husband launched the concept in 2013 as a healthy alternative to the fast-food drive-throughs in their neighborhood.
Salad and Go’s menu offers 10 gourmet salads (or wraps) created by Bourbon Steak chef Daniel Patino. The breakfast menu has egg-white burritos, quinoa bowls, and power wraps.
The concept has found a hungry following. Salad and Go now has three locations in Gilbert, one in Mesa, one in northeast Phoenix, and one in Tolleson.
Next up are two more Mesa locations:
- Northeast corner of Alma School and Southern (scheduled to open in October)
- Northeast corner of Power and Broadway (December/January)
And there’s good news for diners in west Chandler: Salad and Go has identified a tentative location at Kyrene and Chandler Boulevard, which currently is in the process of being rezoned.
