Last month I wrote about Grand Blue, a new seafood concept from the three founders of the Valley-based Pita Jungle chain. Apparently that’s not the only new project with a Pita Jungle connection.
According to Carey Sweet at AZ Central, Sam Ashek and Samer Alkhairi, who own PJ franchises in Scottsdale, northeast Phoenix, and Pasadena, Calif., will open Breakfast Kitchen Bar in the Scottsdale Quarter in September.
It will take over the former C3 Kitchen space, next to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, near Scottsdale Road and the Greenway-Hayden Loop.
The menu hasn’t been finalized yet, but you can find photos of some of their culinary creations on their Facebook page, including Steak & Eggs Benedict (pictured).
