La Ristra New Mexican Kitchen in Gilbert will hold its fourth annual Hatch Chile Sale on Aug. 26-27.
Every year, restaurant staffers travel to Hatch, N.M., to pick up their own chiles, which they then roast in the restaurant parking lot.
You can order your own 40-pound sack of chiles for $45, or two 40-pound sacks for $80.
Orders must be placed in advance by calling the restaurant at 480-545-2880.
Besides the chile-roasting, the Hatch Chile Sale weekend will feature food and drink specials, live music, and a Santa Fe Brewing tap takeover.
