Beef short ribs will be the entree of this month’s ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’ dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert.
The monthly dinners feature three new dishes from Romeo’s creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgable waitstaff:
- Ahi tuna poke, pork carnitas and guacamole, fresh mozzarella, artichoke hearts, capers, roasted red peppers, basil pesto, EVOO, white balsamic on a trio of polenta squares (pictured). Paired with The Infinite Monkey Theorem The Blind Watchmaker White.
- Beef short ribs slowly cooked with carrots, onions, red wine, cauliflower puree, and roasted vegetables, and spicy cucumber salad. Paired with 2013 Cuvaison Estate Pinot Noir.
- Dark chocolate orange almond cake. Paired with 2013 Michael David Winery Freakshow Cabernet Sauvignon.
