The Arizona Vignerons Alliance, a nonprofit formed by Arizona wineries to educate the state’s growers, winemakers, and customers, will hold its first symposium Saturday, Nov. 5, at The Farm at South Mountain.
The symposium, called #WineResearch, will feature two seminars, a live-auction lunch, and a grand tasting:
- 9:30-10 a.m.: Check in Donuts & Coffee
- 10-11 a.m.: Seminar 1: Exploration of growing regions through wines with Pavle Milic
- 11:15 a.m.-noon: Seminar 2: Digging into Arizona’s Wine Regions with Elaine Chukan Brown (aka Hawk Wakawaka)
- Noon-2 p.m.: Rosé Picnic & Live Auction in the Stone Grove at The Farm
- 2-5 p.m.: Grand Tasting: Sample Arizona’s Alliance certified wines and meet the makers behind your favorite Arizona wines.
The symposium is open to the public. There are two ticket options: Â $165 per person for all events, or $65 for just the Grand Tasting.
