Boulevard Brewing from Kansas City, Mo., is the featured brewery for this month’s Third Thursday tap takeover at Flanny’s Bar & Grill in south Tempe.
Beers on tap from 6-10 p.m. tonight will include three of Boulevard’s seven ‘‘core’’ beers: 80 Acre Hoppy Wheat, KC Pils, and Unfiltered Wheat.
Of greater interest to beer geeks will be several ales from the brewery’s Smokestack Series: Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale and its rare offshoot Saison-Brett, Tell-Tale Tart sour, and The Calling imperial IPA.
If you’re looking for something really different, Tripel Julep is a Belgian tripel briefly aged in whiskey barrels and infused with mint, and Ginger Lemon Radler is a beer/soda/lemonade hybrid.
Fans of barrel-aged beers will want to check out Rye on Rye on Rye, which is aged in first-use rye whiskey barrels, then transferred to another set of first-use barrels.
Rounding out the tap list will be Tropical Pale Ale, a collaboration with Florida’s Cigar City Brewing, and Hibiscus Gose.
Flanny’s also will be tapping several ales from Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, N.Y., tonight.
Topping that list will be Rosetta, a traditional Belgian Kriek that won a gold medal at the 2016 World Beer Cup, where Ommegang was named Best Mid-Sized Brewery.
Also on tap will be Game of Thrones Seven Kingdoms, a hoppy wheat ale introduced earlier this year; Great Beyond, Ommegang’s first double IPA; and Witte, a classic Belgian wit.
